Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team. As a Psychotherapist, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health support and counseling to individuals and couples dealing with various issues. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
- Provide individual, and couples therapy sessions to address clients' emotional, psychological, and behavioral concerns
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as motivational interviewing to support couples
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Collect data and participate in outcome measurement activities to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of psychotherapy
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related field
- State licensure as a Psychotherapist, NJ LPC or LCSW
- Knowledge of Imago work preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
