Here’s what we’re looking for:
A Senior Account Representative for PartnerShip has a very important job. You are the first line of contact with existing customers and prospective shippers. You use your outstanding communication skills to build relationships with existing and prospective accounts.
- You are pleasantly persistent. To you, “no” means, “not right now.” And you are absolutely positive that you’ll turn that “no” into a “yes.”
- You are fearless. You’re not afraid of cold-calls; cold-calls are afraid of you!
- You are detail-orientated. A simple error in a zip code could mean your customer’s shipment ends up in Cheboygan instead of Chicago. That’s not good.
Here’s what we need from you:
- Utilize our leads, social media platforms, online directories, industry associations, and other resources to identify and qualify potential customers.
- Proactively reach out to prospects through cold calls, emails, and social media to generate leads and establish initial contact.
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients by actively engaging with prospects, conducting needs assessments, and presenting tailored solutions to address their freight brokerage requirements.
- Negotiate pricing and/or terms within company parameters
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and metrics
- Establish strong professional relationships with existing customers and prospects through effective communication, active listening, and a consultative sales approach.
- Foster ongoing communication, address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to evaluate their satisfaction, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Document all sales activity within our CRM
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in logistics, preferably brokerage sales
Here’s what you’ll get from us:
- Base salary + commission. Oh, and just to whet your sales appetite, you’ll get a guaranteed commission of at least $1,000 a quarter for your first 6 months on the job.
- Uncapped commission structure. We don’t decide how much you’ll make, you do!
