· Review results for Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), relevant Quality Control data and associated documentation to ensure that the results meet quality standards.
· Follow the laboratory’s procedure for quality control, reporting, releasing maintaining records of patient test results, compliance, and documentation and testing of proficiency testing samples.
· Adhere to the laboratory’s quality control policies, document all quality control activities and procedures to the review, interpretation, and reporting of results.
· In the event of suspect test failures such as codes, flags or trends, the test exam results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test systems are functioning properly.
· Maintains patient confidentiality by keeping the laboratory information confidential.
· Applied knowledge and skills to produce quality work and facilitate meeting TAT goals.
· Ability to review data by choosing the correct data analysis method using a data analysis software.
· Ability to evaluate chromatographic peaks, peak shape, peak retention times, qualifier ratios, control target values, patient results.
· Understands how to fill out a certification worksheet manually and digitally for every batch analyzed.

Other:
· Participate in employee training for review, certification and software.
· Identify and resolve quality control issues; accurately enter and report test results; and remain current on lab standard operating procedures.
· Provide appropriate feedback to the Supervisor and Responsible Person in order to assist in maintaining an accurate SOP.
· Perform all other assigned duties as instructed or required.

Job Requirements:
· BS in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology or any Science related field)

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient testing results
