Overview:
We are seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join our team. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and achieve our marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and experience in the transportation industry and driver recruiting.
What you will do:
- Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals and objectives.
- Content Creation: Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, video) for various social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X and more.
- Community Management: Monitor, respond to, and engage with our audience across all social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers through proactive social media engagement, responding to inquiries, addressing feedback, and initiating conversations to build a loyal online community.
- Driver Recruitment: Develop and implement social media campaigns specifically targeting potential driver recruits. Create engaging content that highlights the benefits of working with our company and showcases driver success stories.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads.
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies. Monitor competitor activities and industry developments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, graphic designers, and other departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Crisis Management: Handle any social media crises with a calm and strategic approach, ensuring minimal impact on the brand’s reputation.
- Compliance: Ensure all social media activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of successful social media campaigns.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the transportation industry and driver recruiting is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, is preferred but not
- Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.)
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Technical Skills: Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) are a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
