Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the technical team responsible for lift and elevator installations, service, and maintenance.
- Responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
1) Perform assembly, disassembly and maintenance of our lifts.
2)Identify and resolve issues during scheduled maintenance requests
3)Adhere to regulations, safety guidelines, and maintenance tasks to meet requirements
4) Foster a team-oriented approach to drive the team's achievement of production and quality goals
5) Troubleshoot and rework electronic equipment down to the component level.
6) Perform preventive maintenance or service, such as cleaning, lubricating, or adjusting equipment.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure timely and efficient installation of lifts and elevators according to client specifications and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team in troubleshooting and resolving lift-related issues that may arise during installations or maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Develop and implement technical strategies and goals.
- Develop and implement training programs for technical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in lift and elevator systems.
- Maintain and submit accurate records of technical team, installation projects, service reports, and maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to procure necessary equipment and materials for lift installations and repairs.
- Monitor team performance, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching to improve productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or at least one year of experience in a similar position
- College degree or above, major in Mechanical / Automation
- Desired formal qualification in an engineering related field or previous work experience as a Mechanical /Assembly Technician
- Supervising experience
- OSHA-Safety Certified
- Training experience
- Customer Service/ Escalation
SKILLS:
- Training
- OSHA and Safety Management
- Knowledge in electronics, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical
- Technical competence, the ability to read and understand detailed instructions, blueprints, flowcharts, schematics and engineering documents, and pass all compliance necessary for technical and safety training;
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and familiarity with electrical drawings.
- Ability to read and operate various measuring equipment related to electronics (digital multimeters)
- Document and adhere to manufacturers' troubleshooting techniques
- Hands-on Ability: Strong mechanical skills, capable of disassembling and assembling machinery and equipment.

Physical Requirements:
- Candidate must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time. Candidates must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity.
