This person will perform a wide variety of benefit duties while effectively, efficiently, and professionally interacting with our staff members, our human resources team, and the residents of our community.

Duties may include, but not limited to:
- Manage and administer numerous employee benefit programs, including medical, dental and vision insurance programs, flexible spending account/dependent care program, life, and AD&D benefits, short- and long-term disability programs, employee wellness program, and other benefits.
- Administer 403B retirement plan in compliance with program guidelines and regulations ensuring accurate record-keeping; participate in annual audit.
- Manage and track leaves of absence within FMLA, PMLA, ADA guidelines; provides direction and answer questions for employees going through the process; provide timely updates to managers regarding employee status.
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and COBRA.
- Responsible for compliance reporting for ACA, PMLA, etc.
- Reconcile monthly benefits against employee deductions and benefits billing.
- Maintain HRIS and Prepare ADP reports.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment including communication of benefit options to employees, facilitating enrollment processes, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding benefits, providing timely and accurate information and resolving issues effectively.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to employee benefits, and recommend improvements or changes to existing programs as needed.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives related to benefits administration, such as wellness programs, employee engagement initiatives, and process improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and adhere to all privacy and security regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree in human resources, business, finance, or related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with payroll and HRIS systems. ADP experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and compensation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Thorough knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA requirements.
- Excellent technology skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; ability to export data from carrier programs to Excel; familiarity and experience in using Excel features to create and utilize formulas, sort and sub-sort data functions and successfully reconcile carrier invoices to employee deductions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Pay: $40,497.30 - $48,770.95 per year
