Role Overview:As a Clinical Nurse, you'll be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, delivering compassionate care, overseeing medication management, and conducting comprehensive assessments for clients admitted to our detoxification and residential treatment programs. Your role goes beyond clinical responsibilities; you'll build strong relationships with clients, maintain accurate documentation, and actively contribute to the collaborative efforts of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Medication Management Expert: Follow prescribed medication protocols, monitoring vital signs for any adverse reactions, and documenting medication administration accurately.
- Comprehensive Care: Conduct nursing assessments for clients entering detoxification and residential treatment, ensuring a holistic understanding of their health needs.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of client observations, nursing incidents, and medication errors, adhering to established protocols.
- Collaborative Team Player: Participate in job-related meetings, in-service training, and actively contribute to team problem-solving methods.
- Patient-Centric Support: Assist clients with medications as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring attentive monitoring and support.
- Healthcare Education: Educate clients and staff on observed/inventoried/destroyed/prescribed medications, facilitating waived testing procedures according to guidelines.
- Clinical Expertise: Administer and document vital signs, assessments (CIWAs, COWS, fall risks, etc.), maintaining infection control precautions.
- Resource Management: Maintain nursing supplies inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels, and proactively communicate supply needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Current RN or LVN license in good standing.
- Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on drug detoxification and behavioral health is preferred.
- Proficiency in medication management protocols, documentation, and healthcare education.
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering rapport with clients and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to established protocols.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
