- Non-Independently Licensed Pay - On our pay-for-performance model the starting salary is $50,000 for the first 90-120 days. Billable hours range between 1,200 and 1,500 per year, with an annual compensation range between $56,000 - $68,000 per year.
- Independently Licensed Pay - On our pay-for-performance model the starting salary is $61,000 for the first 90-120 days. Billable hours range from 1,200 and 1,500 per year, with an annual compensation range between $68,000 and $83,000 per year.
School Mental Health Counselor and Therapist - Qualifications
- Master's degree or above in a clinical field of study related to behavioral health.
- Eligibility for Kentucky independent or non-independent license is required.
- Must have or be eligible for one of the following Kentucky licenses: LCSW, CSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, MFT, LPAT, LPATA, LCADC, LCADCA, PhD, or PsyD.
- Experience in behavioral health is a plus, but not required.
- May and December 2024 graduates encouraged to apply.
School Mental Health Counselor and Therapist - Job Duties
- Provide individual and group behavioral health therapy services for children, adolescents, and families in a school and/or outpatient office setting.
- Provide behavioral health crisis assessment and therapy services to children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for clients based upon clients' areas of need, diagnoses, and symptoms.
- Maintain multi-disciplinary working relationships with other clinicians, mental health therapists and counselors, school personnel, and other related professionals in the community.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation including progress notes, assessments, reports, schedules, and other material required.
- Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth.
- Maintain license, certification, and/or identified program performance skills.
