Environmental Health & Safety Staff Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Administer activities associated with the Supplier EHS Assessment process to meet program objectives
- Communicate with impacted Suppliers, Sourcing, Third Party Risk Management team and client groups to facilitate the assessment process
- Work with client groups to identify, prioritize and process supplier assessments in support of business initiatives and projects
- Evaluate Supplier EHS performance history and submitted documentation through the variance process and provide client team and EHS Leadership recommendation on how to proceed
- Review, process and report supplier events, incidents and overall program performance • Evaluate existing program performance and identify opportunities for improvement • Foster awareness to ensure business groups understand program requirements, objectives and expectations.
- Ensure smooth communication within the project team and other cross-functional teams
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important): Bachelor’s degree preferably in EHS or related discipline Three or more years of relevant EHS work experience Knowledge of federal and state occupational, health and safety regulations Proficient PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Gmail and Google Suite) Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Capacity to work independently and also as part of a cross-functional team Good written and oral communications skills

Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
