Our Beginning is a Reggio Emilia inspired children's school located in the Fremont community in Seattle. We care for children ages 6 weeks - 6 years of age. Currently, we are seeking a part-time, hands-on, on-site experienced Human Resources Manager/Coordinator. The position work location will be in the Fremont Community and other communities.
This Position Is Part Time: Approximately 16 - 20 hours a week.
About the role:
The Human Resources Manager/Coordinator is responsible for all components of Human Resources including but is not limited to supporting diverse teachers, faculty and staff. Anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the school . Focus on staff recruitment and retention. This position will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going professional relationships all while contributing to the growth of the company. This position will also be an onsite point of contact for addressing employee’s dreams and concerns.
About you:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- SHRM certification preferred.
- Spanish or Chinese speaking a plus
- Experience in a school/child care center or nonprofit organization is preferred
- ADP payroll processing experience preferred
