POSITION SUMMARY:
The Commission Supervisor is responsible for the timely calculation and preparation of monthly/quarterly company commissions in compliance with the approved commission plans and agreements. Provides feedback on commission trends, spearheads departmental reports and analysis for leadership, and resolves commission inquiries. Process, implement, and maintain an effective commission system in both a manual and automated structure. Maintains audit controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of data, validates monthly commissions for accuracy, completeness and consistency, develops policies and procedures, and provides leadership to the commission team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Calculate, validate, and manage monthly commission data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Prepare commission accruals, forecasts, and individual statements
- Research and resolve commission inquiries and adjustments
- Drive operational efficiencies and identify process refinements to improve the effectiveness and accuracy of commission calculations. Leverage continuous improvement practices and techniques to enhance and automate processes and solutions
- Provide key commission reporting and analysis (trend, effectiveness, etc.) that will provide meaningful data to finance and cross-functional partners. Provide ad hoc and additional reports as requested
- Implement and test commission plan changes as provided by Sales leadership
- Participate in user acceptance testing for new and revised commission plans
- Ensure audit controls are in place and the integrity of commission tools, data, and payments are maintained according to Company and department regulations, policies, procedures and governance over commission processing. Work cross-functionally with sales leadership, business partners, and internal and external auditors
- Document, write, update, and maintain all governance and control documents for commission administration. Document all policies, processes, and procedures
- Provide guidance to new managers and sales representatives on sales plans and incentive payout information
- Maintain confidentiality on matters relating to commissions and performance
- Provide leadership and development to the Commission team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years recent experience in financial planning and analysis, sales operations, or commissions; commissions experience highly preferred
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for monitoring commission data
- Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, determine appropriate solutions and resolve sensitive problems
- High-level of accuracy, time management, and attention to detail; able to look outside the box
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written with various levels in the organization
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Professionally curious and passionate about learning
- Work with third party Commission Management Systems

Pay: $82,500.00 - $104,000.00 per year
