Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Generalist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical administration and patient services.
In order for Fusion to function at its highest potential on a daily basis, the PSG will need to possess flexibility, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to multitask. They will need to communicate with a variety of people involved in the patient's care including doctors, nurses, insurance companies, our own therapists, staff and families.
They must be willing to be mindful of their overall demeanor and tone of voice with families and staff members, not just for HIPAA compliance but presenting the clinic in a positive light. The impact this position has on the clinic is both visible and invisible in nature. This position can contribute to the success or failure in a clinic. Whether it’s a smile, reordering protocols, taking payment or calling a parent to schedule an appointment, it is about looking for ways to create the best possible experience for both our team and the patient and/or their families.

Responsibilities:
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Handle medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Be able to use all google systems
- Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service to patients
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of patient services
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Experience:
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of office procedures
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for managing patient information
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to operate phone systems and handle patient inquiries effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care
