OPPORTUNITY | Human Resources Coordinator
Litchfield Cavo LLP seeks a highly motivated, talented Human Resources Coordinator with at least two years of experience to provide support in multiple HR disciplines at the firm’s Downtown Chicago office with a hybrid model schedule. This is an exceptional opportunity for the Coordinator to provide administrative and project management support in all aspects of the firm’s Human Resources Department. Prior law firm experience is a plus.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Recruiting Specialist with screening candidates to evaluate availability, skills, work history, education, compensation and other qualifications;

Assist Recruiting Specialist with publishing open positions on appropriate career sites, building robust candidate pipelines for attorneys and staff positions;

Prepare offer letters for new hires and conduct onboarding orientation;

Assist HR Specialist with assigning and maintaining sexual harassment training as needed;

Oversee benefit enrollment for new employees through ADP and carrier websites, as needed;

Respond promptly and thoroughly to questions on all HR topics and policies;

Assist with HRIS and ATS systems;

Monitor and respond appropriately to the general HR email; and

Assist with additional HR related responsibilities;
QUALIFICATIONS
A successful Human Resource Coordinator will have demonstrated ability and knowledge of human resources. Proven ability to work effectively and independently under time constraints; must be able to organize and implement detailed projects; requires strong computer skills.

Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline;

Minimum of 2-3 years HR experience supporting multiple locations demonstrating knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.

Computer proficiency including MS Office including Excel, Outlook and; iManage experience a plus;

Familiarity and experience using ADP Workforce Now is preferred;

Demonstrated ability to succeed in a busy environment;

Strong attention to detail and accuracy;

Able to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion;

Stellar written and verbal communication skills;

Demonstrate creativity and initiative; self-starter with ability to remain self-directed and self-motivated; and

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality;
