We are looking for experienced Home Health Aides to join our home health care team. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting patients with day-to-day tasks and activities such as bathing, dressing, preparing meals, light housework, grocery/store runs, medication reminders and other tasks. The position is sometimes physically demanding, so being in good shape to aid in daily life activities is important. The Home Health Aide also assists with transportation to medical appointments when necessary and also assist with appointment scheduling and visitor scheduling to ensure that patients see only those visitors who are on their approved list.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a home health care agency.
- Keep patient records up to date (appointments, vitals, etc)
- Provide health and hygiene education to patients and families.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and physical activity as prescribed by a physician or nurse.
- Assist with activities of daily living; bathe, dress, walk, and exercise with patients as prescribed by a physician or nurse.
- Prepare meals and snacks for patients as prescribed by a physician or nurse or POA representative. Grocery shopping.
- Monitor patients' physical health and comfort levels.
- Inform the appropriate party if you notice a change in the patient's health status that may require action.
- Assist in maintaining a tidy, clean and sterile environment
Fluent Language desired:

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
