Employee will be fully cross-trained in and expected to perform all predictive maintenance (PdM) and reliability engineering field services provided by MTI. Services include:
- Vibration analysis
- Motor circuit evaluation
- Infrared thermography
- Rotor balancing
- Shaft laser alignment
- Oil lubrication analysis
- Additional related technologies
Employee must have a strong mechanical background and carry a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (aerospace and electrical will also be considered), and may be entry level or with 1-10 years experience in a related engineering field.
As a field service engineer, the employee will be required to spend most business days at customer sites, typically 3-4 days per week, with the remaining days at MTI's office or home for analysis and reporting. Customer sites may range from less than 30 minutes to over 2 hours from MTI's office. Occasional overnight stays may be necessary.
MTI was established in 1988 and is located in Milford, CT. MTI provides PdM services throughout New England and the New York metro area with typical customers including:
- Power generation
- Industrial manufacturing
- Facilities management
- Domestic heat and cooling applications
- Municipal waste and water management
