Job Summary: As the Human Resources Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions within the organization including but not limited to recruiting, training, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: including the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Serves as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR related inquiries and concerns.
- Facilitate, with direction from HR Manager and Recruiter, recruitment for entry level positions, including but not limited to scheduling interviews, performing phone screens, participating in in person interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
- Attends and participates in community and college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Coordinates high school and college internship program.
- Lead new hire employee orientations.
- Maintain employee file compliance in the HRIS system.
- Monitor and document employee call off line.
- Assists in administering employee benefits, including data entry and compiling.
- Assists with HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with legal requirements.
- Assists in identifying training needs and development of training programs, including coordinating sessions and workshops for employees and leadership.
- Support performance management processes, including objectives, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
- Administers employee goodwill programs.
- Participate in planning, coordinating, and executing company events.
- Assists in representing the organization in community industry human resources, safety & health groups and programs.
- Acts as liaison between HR and department leaders for timekeeping and scheduling.
- Promote a positive work environment and employee morale.
- Collaborates with other departments as needed.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with internal teams, vendors, stakeholders & community leaders.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven, high pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization & employees.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and HRIS system.
- Excellent reading and writing skills in the English language.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Successful completion of 60-day probationary period.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years human resources or office experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment:
- The work environment is pleasant, temperature controlled, professional office environment in a manufacturing setting. The employee works in an office setting but does have frequent interaction with the shop floor. On the shop floor, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is mixed and the air temperature fluctuates with the seasonal weather.
