Role Description:
As a Product Manager for the Patient Portal Team at Podimetrics, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and enhancement of our patient-facing digital platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and clinical experts, to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare technology, user needs, and market trends to drive product innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the patient portal, aligning with company goals and market demands. Define product roadmap, feature prioritization, and go-to-market strategies.
- User Experience (UX) Design: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for the patient portal. Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate based on feedback to optimize user experience.
- Feature Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch. Define feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics, user feedback, and market research to inform product decisions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and iterate on product features to drive user engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and clinical stakeholders, to align product initiatives with business objectives. Communicate product vision, progress, and challenges effectively across the organization.
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with the Quality and Engineering team to ensure that the patient portal meets regulatory requirements and industry standards for healthcare data privacy, security, and accessibility. Work closely with compliance and legal teams to address regulatory issues and implement best practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, partners, and executives, to gather feedback, validate product features, and build strong relationships that drive adoption and satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in healthcare technology, preferably in patient portals or digital health solutions (4-5 years minimum)
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT, electronic medical records (EMR), patient engagement, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
- Strong understanding of optimal organization structures
- Previous experience in a data, cybersecurity or enterprise enablement role is a plus
- Experience with agile methodologies, product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and UX/UI design principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements.
- Track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products, driving user adoption, and achieving business objectives.
- Knowledge of diabetic care, wound management, or related healthcare domains is a plus.
