Environmental Professional
Job Duties:
- Perform environmental investigations and sampling to determine potential pollutant sources
- Manage environmental sample collection and laboratory chain-of-custody protocols
- Interpret analytical data to develop strategies for client operations and maintenance programs addressing discovered hazards
- Perform environmental remediation project management/oversight
- Utilize acquired knowledge to determine appropriate response actions as environmental remediation project conditions change. Once determined, implement the appropriate response action.
- Travel across Arkansas and surrounding states
Education/Training Requirements:
- Academic degree in a scientific field or experience in a scientific field
- Experience performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments is preferred, though not required
- Highly specialized continuing education to maintain accreditation/certification/licensing at the state and federal level will be required (paid for by EEG)
- Salary is negotiable, based on experience and/or education
