We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LCADC (Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor) interested in leading the IOP program for Rebirth and Renewal Family Resource Center. As an LCADC, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and counseling services to individuals struggling with substance abuse. You will also facilitate IOP group 3 days a week for 3 hrs a day. If you have a passion for helping others and possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply. This is a contract position and applicant should have good time management skills, be able to work independently, and possess leadership skills.
Job responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' substance abuse history and treatment needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide clinical counseling to individuals and groups
_Facilitate and Manage IOP and Relapse Prevention groups
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
_Attend treatment team meetings
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive change
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion
- Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies
- Clinical counseling expertise with a specialization in substance abuse treatment
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Direct support experience in addiction treatment settings
