Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide preventive and restorative dental care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental practice management systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice dentistry in the state
- Completion of a dental degree program from an accredited institution
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental practice management systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
