Summary
As an Impound Tow Truck Driver, you will be a vital team member responsible for safely relocating as well as enforcing parking regulations with various contracted private properties. With core skills in driving and operating tow trucks, you will efficiently handle vehicle pickups and drop-offs. Your premium skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and commercial driving will ensure the proper knowledge and handling of various vehicle types. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service, as well as safely loading/unloading will contribute to providing a positive experience for private property managers, Board of Directors, as well as customers. Qualifications-NO EXCEPTIONS
- Must be reliable, honest, have integrity and motivated to work.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills, able to handle difficult situations and deescalate upset customers.
- Must maintain a professional appearance.
- Must be able to provide superior local towing and recovery service in a safe and prudent manner.
- Must be able to operate a wheel-lift.
- Must have knowledge of various vehicles as well as the equipment needed to safely and efficiently tow them. (i.e. front-wheel drive, rear wheel drive, all-wheel drive, vehicle modifications.)
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Perform daily truck inspections and review of maintenance documents. Complete and turn in Daily Report plus invoices for sales and truck (pre-trip inspection, fuel, etc.)
- Must be a team player and have a winning can do attitude.
- Must have clean drug screen
- Must have a medical DOT card
- Clean background, clean driving record and ability to get on the police list is a plus.
- Experience preferred, but will train the right person.
