The position of Assistant Manager is responsible for leading, coaching and training the Wellness Advisor team with the overall intent of ensuring the team delivers first-in-class service to our members and guests. As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with each Wellness Advisor to create daily monthly and quarterly goals in your assigned areas. You will meet regularly with your Business Manager to assess the current team and business needs and outline action steps for continuous growth. As part of the management team, it is vital to create and maintain an open-door environment where all parts of the business can come to you with questions or concerns and know they will be addressed or handled with respect and tact.
Duties include but not limited to:
· Manages clinic in absence of Business Manager
· Team Member Schedules
· Taking control of any escalated situations during shift.
· Upholding and conducting yourself to align with the Massage Envy brand’s core values of Optimism, Gratitude, Excellence, Consistency and Empathy.
· Lead the entire clinic team in ensuring every member and guest receive first-in-class service
· Supporting team goals and creating and maintaining positive relationships with team members
· Monitor and manage situations of over staffing and/or need to decrease staffing in any given day
· Conduct and/or assist in On-Boarding and training for all Wellness Advisors positions.
· Monitor progress of growth of Wellness Advisor and actively engage and encourage role playing
Top Priorities:
· Primary focus of you and your Wellness Advisor team is on the member and guest
· Growing and developing your Wellness Advisor team
· Ensure all concerns, both guest/member and team members, are addressed in timely fashion
· Focus on daily key performance indicators to drive growth
· Bring highly encouraging and motivating personal energy to your team daily.
· Lead your team through the mindset of “what we can do” as they approach challenging situations
Experience:
Candidate must have a minimum of one-year proven experience in spa management or a related field. The candidate must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively to include excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
