Tray Assembler Lead

Shift: Full-time; 12 PM – 8:30 PM; weekend and holiday rotation

The tray assembler lead provides a high-quality dining experience to patients which meets their nutritional requirements and service expectations regarding temperature, timeliness, and food quality. Responsible for making sure patients meal trays are delivered in a timely fashion with great customer service. Provide high customer service and demonstrate a commitment to meeting the customers’ expectations. Expected to be very courteous and professional in manner and appearance. Cross-train in areas as the need arises. Perform task as requested by your manager on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Lead all aspects of and advise the employees working to ensure timely and effective service of the customers.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a commitment to service breakthrough through personal example and prompt follow up on opportunities to improve service.
- Demonstrates sound making decisions and taking responsibility for the decision.
- Demonstrates teamwork in the performance of duties and leading by example.
- Maintains HIPPA standards during interactions with all employees.
- Responsible for staff orientation and on job training of new and existing employees.
- Provides input into developing an improving team member performance.
- Delivers feedback to manager and Staff for performance management of employees.
- Coordinates shift activities of department. May be required to completed tasks of working personnel when the need arises.
- Transports carts to patient floors and delivers meal trays to patients
- Motivates team members to get job done in a timely fashion with great customer service.
- Demonstrates ability to delegate responsibilities to staff to get the jobs completed in a timely fashion.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
-
18 years of age
- 6 months hospital experience
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets

Preferred Requirements:

At least 1 year in a management or lead position preferred.
