Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various maintenance tasks including HVAC repair, electrical repair, equipment repair, plumbing, and general handyman skills. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for handling work orders and performing routine maintenance to keep our properties in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in apartments and common areas.
- Handle plumbing repairs including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements.
- Repair and maintain various equipment and appliances within the properties.
- Address tenant work orders promptly and professionally.
- Conduct general handyman tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and carpentry.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the properties.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work on-call for emergency repairs.
