Main Purpose of Job
Effectively operator manual machines; lathes, mills, surface grinders, band saws and drill presses.
Effectively communicate with all manufacturing personnel in order to fabricate precision details
Job Objectives

Provide support and assistance to CNC programmers
Background Requirements
Level of education:
General: high school, GED
Job related formal training:
4-year Class A apprenticeship
Job related work experience:
1-2 years work experience beyond the apprenticeship
Other requirements:
Knowledge of blueprint reading
Knowledge of tool room equipment
Knowledge in the use of precision instruments
Demonstrated math skills
Knowledge of metal properties and abrasives
Knowledge of the manufacturing process at overview level
Knowledge of mechanical processes

Operating machine controls (other than transport)
Stopping machinery at precise point indicated
Examine machinery/equipment to check working order
Regular checking of machinery for maintenance
Pay: $25.10 per hour
