Job Summary:
We are an established healthcare company in the San Antonio / Austin market currently looking to add to our Team and Family. Within the past year we have grown significantly, and it is due to our company's culture. We are not big box but we do have one of the largest footprints in the state of Texas for our area of expertise in the healthcare space.
We are currently looking to add an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our Team and Family.
- RN - Current Registered Nurse License for the state of TX - required
- 2 years minimum experience in a management role - required
- Proven leadership experience in Home Health
- Time management and multitasking skills to complete many tasks throughout the day
- High organizational skills
- Able to prioritize and be efficient and work without supervision
- Knowledge of Medicare and Joint Commission guidelines, rules, regulations, and elements of performance
- Assists the Director of Nursing to provide, plan, coordinate or manage nursing care, nursing services
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with staff, patients and patients’ families
- Extensive knowledge of nursing best practices and federal, state and local healthcare laws
- Strong written communication skills to compile reports and write evaluations
- Analytical skills to interpret diagnostic information and financial data
