Sol Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-time or Part-time Front office Receptionist for their Oracle Rd Location in Oro Valley & their Fort Lowell Rd Location in Tucson.

Role and Responsibilities

Maintains Physical Therapy Clinic Front desk daily operations and appearances.

Including but not limited to greeting and scheduling patients and visitors, calling patients to remind them of appointments, answering and routing calls, making transactions, assisting with medical records, completing referrals within the electronic health record (EHR), medical records, prior authorizations, tasking providers patient communication/requests, eligibility verification, faxing, scanning consults/consents, and keeping paperwork organized.

The front desk representative mainly uses telephones and computers to communicate with patients and staff, so they must have basic knowledge of computers. The front desk representative must interact frequently with patients, medical professionals, and supervisors, meaning they must have excellent communication skills and be personable.

Maintains patient confidence and protects hospital operations by keeping information confidential (HIPAA).

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:
Qualifications and Education Requirements

GED or High School Diploma
-
1-2 years of experience with a Medical Front Desk (preferred)

Bilingual (preferred)

Knowledge of Microsoft Software especially 365 platform

Experience with electronic health records (EHR)

Strong organizational skills and communication skills

Starting Pay at $16.00; Depending on Experience
