Lad Irrigation (Lad) is an Irrigation dealer in Eastern Washington that began in 1957 with three employees installing and serving agricultural irrigation systems in the Moses Lake region. The company met success and was incorporated in 1967. Headquartered in Moses Lake, WA with branch offices in Pasco, Othello, George, Sunnyside, Basin City, Royal City and Yakima. Lad has steadily grown to service the entire Columbia Basin in Eastern Washington with over 100 employees. We are currently looking for a Human Resource (HR) Manager to join our team. The position will involve in depth work with all the teams within Lad. We are looking for an internally driven individual with a passion for people and team building. This role is responsible for all HR duties, but the primary focus is building and supporting Lad leadership in a strong company culture. This position reports directly to Lad President and CEO to assist in guiding the development and unity of Lad.

Purpose: To plan and carry out all HR activities while maintaining and developing a strong company team and culture.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
The HR Manager will lead all hiring of new employees. They collaborate with hiring managers, create job descriptions, conduct interviews, and ensure a smooth recruitment process and complete onboarding.
Employee Relations:
HR will mediate between employees and management, address concerns, conflicts, and grievances. They will also strive to maintain a positive work environment in all departments.
Policy Development and Implementation:
HR will create and enforce company policies related to employee conduct, benefits, leave, and more. They ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Training and Development:
HR will organize training programs to enhance employee skills, foster professional growth, and improve overall performance of each employee.
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
HR will handle salary structures, bonuses, benefits (such as health insurance and retirement plans), and compensation-related matters.
Performance Management:
HR will oversee performance appraisals, set goals, and provide feedback to employees. HR will also play a role in promotions and career development.
Legal Compliance:
HR will ensure Lad adheres to employment laws (such as labor regulations, anti-discrimination laws, and workplace safety).
Workforce Planning and Succession Management:
HR will assess staffing needs, plan for future growth, and identify potential successors for key roles.
Employee Engagement and Satisfaction:
HR will work to boost employee morale, engagement, and job satisfaction. This includes organizing events, recognizing achievements, and addressing concerns.
Health and Safety:
HR will promote a safe work environment by implementing safety protocols, conducting training, and addressing health-related issues.
Conflict Resolution:
When disputes arise, HR will facilitate conflict resolution and maintain a fair and respectful workplace.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
Maintain records, including employee handbook, comprehensive personnel files, performance reviews, work plans.
Management strategy and planning:
HR will be involved and participate in company planning and strategic vision to ensure all HR efforts are in line with Lad focus and direction.
Position compensation and Benefits:
Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $125,000 per year based on experience. Compensation is based on position related experience and skills. The position will also qualify for complete Lad benefits including medical, dental, vision, and ESOP profit sharing programs.
HR Position Requirements:
· 4 year degree in HR or related field.
· 4+ years prior HR Experience.
· HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP)
· Experience guiding teams in strategic teamwork and growth
· Experience in training and developing diverse teams.
Prior experience in administering leave management
