We are now seeking a Compliance Officer - In-House Attorney with a strong background in healthcare to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
The Compliance Officer - In-House Attorney will be responsible for managing and overseeing all legal and compliance matters within the organization. This includes ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, handling legal issues, and providing strategic legal advice to support the company's operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the company’s compliance program.
- Ensure that all healthcare operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of healthcare-related issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to ensure compliance.
- Work closely with various departments to address compliance and legal concerns.
- Monitor changes in healthcare regulations and advise on necessary adjustments.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law.
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare law and compliance.
- Proven experience in managing compliance programs within a healthcare setting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare provider or managed care setting.
- Previous experience as an in-house counsel in the healthcare industry.
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar certification.
