Borderless Magazine is an award-winning nonprofit news outlet that is reimagining immigration journalism for a more just and equitable future. We report and publish stories in English and Spanish in our online publication, we work with immigrants and their allies to tell their own stories, and we train journalists to more ethically report on immigration issues. We recently won the Next Challenge’s “Future of Local Journalism” award for our community-centered reporting. Find out more at www.borderlessmag.org.
Borderless is seeking a Photojournalism Intern to join us as part of our Pathways program in the Fall.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early career photojournalist or photographer to learn from Borderless’ award-winning team.
Interns will work closely with their supervisor and meet weekly to review outtakes and discuss opportunities for growth. They will leave the internship with an expanded portfolio of published work (both on the Borderless Magazine site and with partner publications). They will also have the opportunity to learn reporting, writing, and interviewing skills, should they desire.
