Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and efficiency of our facilities. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and a willingness to fabricate and weld components as needed. The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential painting and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and able to troubleshoot complex issues.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed to maintain equipment and systems.
- Conduct residential painting projects, including preparation, painting, and cleanup.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using logic controllers and schematics.
- Use an ohmmeter to test electrical circuits and diagnose issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and repair logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring that work is completed to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Experience with facilities maintenance and a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Ability to fabricate and weld components as needed.
- Proficiency with residential painting and a commitment to providing excellent results.
- Knowledge of logic controllers and the ability to use schematics to diagnose electrical issues.
- Familiarity with the use of an ohmmeter to test electrical circuits.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
