About the Internship:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the mental health well-being of our diverse student body and their families. You'll gain valuable clinical experience under the supervision of licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, collaborate with dedicated educators, and learn evidence-based approaches to supporting children and families in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
● Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, social-emotional development, and peer relationships.
● Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement comprehensive support plans for students.
● Participate in clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
● Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
● Currently enrolled in a MFT program and nearing completion.
● Currently Registered with The BBS
● Strong understanding of child development and family dynamics.
● Culturally competent and committed to serving diverse populations.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
● Demonstrated passion for education and child well-being.
