What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...
- Conduct intake assessments for new and returning clients
- Facilitate group psychoeducational sessions which includes planning, implementing and supervising appropriate activities for service recipients according to MID curriculum
- Accurate observation and progress documentation of service recipient behavior, performance and issues; note and report changes in service recipient’s physical or emotional health
- Follow all agency policies and procedures, including timely documentation of quality measures including incident reports and evaluations of program effectiveness.
- Participate actively and positively in staff meetings, supervision, professional development trainings, and annual performance evaluations
- Maintain and build effective and positive working relationships with referral sources, community members, colleagues, supervisor, employees and other agency programs
- Promote agency culture of learning and respect to others as well as agency mission and strategic plan
- Exhibit professionalism in all job functions (confidentiality, boundaries, respect for other employees)
Crisis intervention and referral to higher level of care as needed

Requirements:
Qualifications

Must posses a Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy or have a certification in addiction services

Has experience conducting intake assessments

Has experience facilitating psychoeducational group meetings

Ability to work with court mandates clients

Compute proficiency, strong organizational skills, and communication skills

Valid MA Driver's License with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance

Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as a required by program
