General Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the branch’s procurement process including inventory and ordering, while ensuring alignment with Graniterock’s Family Vision, Core Purpose, Core Values, Strategic priorities, and business objectives.
Essential Job Accountabilities
- Comply, understand, and promote safety initiatives to ensure “Safety Before All Else.”
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly administrative functions by generating and issuing purchase orders, contracts, processing contract and material billing and document control to ensure timely completion and compliance with Graniterock policy and procedures.
- Ensure vendor payments and accounts payable are authorized timely and accurately with the necessary approvals and documentation.
- Track and oversee vendor contracts and compliance including, current insurance certificates.
- Maintains Safety Data Sheets and Chemical Inventory List in compliance with state and federal requirements of Cal-Osha, MSHA and FMCA.
- Support division improvements, initiatives, and special projects as needed.
Education and Work Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of some college level accounting courses preferred.
- 2 years’ experience administering contracts preferred.
- 0-4 years purchasing experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task; organized, detail oriented; deadline driven with excellent follow-through skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to adapt to various software, JD Edwards experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong math skills

Pay: $24.57 - $31.00 per hour
