POSITION SUMMARY: Perform the duties required to coordinate and monitor provision of medical services in a professional manner for each individual patient. Assigned administrative authority, responsibility and accountability to carry out assigned duties.
POSTION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred
Experience: Three (3) years as an RN in community clinic, public health nursing, and/or hospital setting. Three (3) years prior management experience required.

Essential Functions:

Collaborates and reports directly to the Assistant Vice President (AV) of Health Center Operations.

Oversees the daily clinical operations of the health center site(s), providing direct supervision to clinical support staff and acting as a liaison between Assistant Vice President of Health Center Operations.

Completes staffing assignments and maintains adequate staffing for the provision of quality healthcare services through monitoring and adjusting schedules, receiving emails, and oral communication related to staffing.

Performs the duties of a Nurse Coordinator during staffing shortages.
-
Provides direction and monitors huddles between providers and support staff using established protocols and Data Reporting Centralized Solutions (DRVS) for improved quality outcomes.

Completes Paycom electronic payroll system training, monitors and documents staffing time and attendance as needed.

Assures that all clinical staff is working with the scope of their practice and documentation in the electronic health record is accurate and complete.

Monitors and assures that all nursing and support staff remain in compliance for required educational and professional development, annual PPD testing, and influenza vaccine requirements.

Assures that customer service is being delivered in a positive effective manner.

Assists with the recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of new employees.

Assists in the development, implementation, and achievement of goals and objectives of the staff according to Affinia policy and procedure.

Maintains a healthy, collaborative team environment.

Initiates and provides input and or completion of annual evaluations as directed.

Performs routine audits of health center departments, i.e., Women's Health, Adult Medicine to evaluate compliance with policy and procedures.

Assists with patient and provider concerns.

Position requires coverage at the Affinia Healthcare Lemp location, 2200 Lemp, St. Louis, MO 63104.

Perform other duties as assigned by Assistant Vice President of Health Center Operations.
Marginal Functions:

Participate in evaluating and planning for existing and new services.

Assist in the orientation of physicians, nursing instructors, students, volunteers, and other staff.

Support compliance of all regulatory standards

Contribute to the implementation / evaluation of Care Standards as specified by the established Regulatory bodies and Quality Improvement
Supervises: Clinic Nurse Coordinators, RN Clinic Nurse Coordinators, Clinic Nurse Facilitators, LPNs, LPN Coordinators, Registered Medical Assistants, Certified Medical Assistants, Health Center Support Clerks and Health Center Receptionists
