Job Summary
The Director of Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP) will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and coordination of NRP programs for Innovative Perfusion Concepts on a national level.
Responsibilities
Strategic planning and business development of the NRP service line.
Operational management including recruiting, hiring, training of new staff, and evaluation of all company NRP specialists.
Developing procedural protocols and quality assurance standards.
Collaborating with device companies for capital equipment and disposables.
Inventory and disposable management.
Coordinating and scheduling employees at various accounts.
Work closely with transplant surgeons, organ procurement organizers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the timing and logistics of normothermic regional perfusion procedures.
Occasional on-call availability for organ procurement procedures.
Maintain accurate records of perfusion parameters, organ assessments, and transplantation outcomes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional protocols for organ preservation and transplantation.
Identify and address any issues or complications that may arise during the procedure.
Qualifications
Deep clinical experience with NRP and organ transplantation
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such including nursing, respiratory therapy, or clinical perfusion.
Prior experience working in a clinical setting related to organ transplantation, perfusion technology, or critical care medicine.
Proficiency in operating perfusion equipment and monitoring systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Leadership experience
Certifications
Certification as a Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)
Place of Work
This position is remote but requires travel to current and prospective NRP program sites, and occasional off site company meetings.
May include clinical coverage as needed at NRP sites
May live anywhere in the lower 48 states
Salary and Benefits
Salary range is Director level (estimated to be $120,000-$175,000) varies depending on qualifications and experience. The employee will receive a base salary with opportunities for bonuses and additional income. The NRP Service Line will be managed as a separate P&L with bonus potential based on performance.
