We are seeking to hire a remote night cook/baker for 2 weeks on, 1 off shifts (other schedules available). Job duties include but are not limited to: cooking a variety of foods, including healthy options, baking bread, cookies, and cakes, cleaning the fryer, broiler, oven, and grease trap, and deep cleaning the kitchen. We are looking for a talented individuals who can think outside of the box and has passion and drive. Applicants must be strong, positive leaders who are hardworking and organized. This position is currently only open to Alaskan residents.
Job Requirements/Skills:
·Maintaining high quality standards and procedures when preparing and serving food.
· Maintaining solid knowledge of all food products and is able to skillfully apply culinary techniques.
· Ensuring that all food quality meets specifications and guarantees.
· Regularly restocks all kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
· Properly labeling and dating all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
· Maintains cooling logs using 6-hour cooling process.
· Keeping the kitchen, a clean, safe and sanitary environment in which to work; making sure all kitchen sanitation standards are met.
· Assisting in keeping food cost and waste low.
· Safe and effective knife skills
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Maintaining a high degree of professionalism
· Effectively communicating with management, chefs and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by clients and/or other employees.
· Following all procedures and policies set forth by the company.

- Food Handler's Card or SafeServ Certificate
- Ability to pass a background check/drug test
- At least 2 years of kitchen/housekeeping experience, especially offshore
-Basic comprehension of English oral and written language, including the ability to read and measure recipes.
-Basic knowledge, understanding and application of various cooking techniques, utensils, and equipment.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
-Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- The address included on this job listing is our office location, but our employees are stationed on offshore platforms or land camps based around the Kenai Peninsula.
