Position Summary: The Driver is responsible for delivering messages, documents, packages, and other items to business establishments and private homes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Uses vehicle to reach destinations to deliver products and materials.
- Services vehicles driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel.
- Loads vehicles with routed goods, ensuring goods are loaded correctly and takes precautions with fragile goods on 2nd run.
- Unloads and sorts returns collected along delivery route.
- Informs regular customers of new products or services.
- Listens to and resolves service complaints.
- Places stock on shelves or racks.
- Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
- Loads truck.
- Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
- Check the first 3 stops and all pipe on your truck before getting on road for delivery.
- Complete digital DVIR pre and post driving/route
- Clean/sweep out truck at end of day and keeps cabin clean.
- End of Route: Unload Truck - Bring all Assets (SIM Reels, Blue Reels, Payoffs, Carts) to Returns Area
- End of Route/day: Unload Truck - bring all returns product and proper paperwork to Returns Area
- Fill up Truck with Gas at end of every day
- Maintain, track, and keep all straps in truck cabin each day.
- During slow periods/downtime help in warehouse picking/packing/returns
Certificates and Licenses: Valid and current Driver’s license – Class C (Non CDL), or willing to obtain one upon hire. Proof of car insurance is required. (or) Must be insurable by company auto insurance policy.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
