The Department of Neurosciences (http://neurosciences.ucsd.edu/) at the University of California San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is recruiting for faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor levels.
UCSD Neurosciences seek candidates to join its renowned team dedicated to cutting-edge basic and clinical research on neurological diseases, spinal cord injuries, brain tumors/defects, and interdisciplinary collaborations. Opportunities include teaching, mentorship, patient care, and scholarly activities at a top-ranked Medical School. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop funded research programs, provide research leadership, and collaborate with a diverse group of scientists and clinicians, including those within NIH-funded centers.
Candidates will be responsible for providing high quality training and teaching and will participate in basic or translational research and/or the clinical care of patients.
The appropriate series and appointment will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.
