Job Title: Solar Sales Consultant

Stellar Solar, Michigan's most experienced solar and battery installer since 1998 is seeking an experienced solar and battery salesperson/energy consultant to join our fast growing Michigan team. The position will provide a generous base + commission to start and plenty of room for growth in the growing Michigan market. We do not generate leads via door-knocking or high pressure tactics, and we expect our energy consultants to take that same approach. Best if you reside below Midland and are able to work events on weekends including some of our Stellar Solar Track Club 5k's that we sponsor. We will provide all the tools for success and think you will like our style. Some regional travel but most of this can be done remote.
We’re looking for a highly motivated person with excellent communication skills who can deliver world-class experiences for our customers. Our ideal candidate needs to be outgoing, confident & sales minded.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
· Accurately enter and maintain Lead, Activity, and Opportunity data into company CRM (Salesforce)
· Answer prospective customers questions in a professional and insightful manner
· Meet/exceed appointment generation activity expectations
· Perform all related duties as assigned by Sales Development Manager
· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED
· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with prospects, existing customers, and internal team members
· Demonstrated success managing time and meeting activity expectations/goals
· Strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to company goals and initiatives
· Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations
· Solution-minded, always looking for ways to improve efficiency, communication, and the customer experience
· Ability to think and act strategically
· Exceptional listening skills
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE NEEDED
· Strong proficiency in common business applications (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
· Familiarity with Salesforce CRM application (Salesforce Lightning experience is a plus)
· Prior experience in solar sales
· High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
