SUMMARY:
As an A&D Consultant specializing in the educational furniture industry, you will be a key liaison between the company and the architectural and design community. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers and design firms to promote our products and services. By providing expert guidance, technical knowledge and personalized support, you will ensure that our furniture solutions align seamlessly with the vision and requirements of educational projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Establish and nurture strong relationships with architects, interior designers and design firms, through regular communication, networking events and collaborative initiatives.
· Drive NorvaNivel and Pedagogy specifications through Architectural and design firms on educational projects.
· Develop and drive relationships with individual school administrators, educators, facility directors and partner with United For Growth, LLC (“UFG”) distribution dealers.
· Educate the A&D community about UFG’s manufacturing companies, NorvaNivel USA, LLC and Pedagogy Furniture’s portfolio of classroom furniture solutions highlighting key features, benefits and applications through presentations product demonstrations and project case studies.
· Serve as a trusted advisor to architects and designers, offering insights, recommendations and technical expertise to assist them in specifying the most suitable furniture solutions for their educational projects.
· Collaborate closely with architects, designers and project stakeholders throughout the design and specification process providing input on space planning furniture selection, customization options and integration with overall design concepts.
· Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies and educational pedagogies to anticipate evolving needs and preferences within the classroom furniture market and provide valuable market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
· Identity, classify and upload opportunities to the company’s CRM database.
· Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, addressing concerns or issues and ensuring a seamless experience for A&D partners from initial contact through project completion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence diverse audiences.
· Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and projects concurrently.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop and web-based applications (Construct Connect, BSD, AVITRU, BIM/REVIT).
· Preference given to subject matter experts in AIA/CSI Master Format and IIDA or ASID.
· Membership to industry associations. Candidates with current architect and interior design contacts highly desired.
· Strong understanding of relationships between owners, architects, designers, general contractors and dealers.
· Working knowledge of Configura CET, Commercial Interior Library and SPEC.
· Willingness to travel locally, regionally and to targeted areas of the USA. Occasional travel to annual trade shows and industry events required.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
· Interior Design Degree highly desired and/or equivalent experience to influence architectural design specifications.
· Minimum of five years’ experience in contract/educational design or outside sales with a proven track record of success; prior experience is a must as this is a leadership role converting specification opportunities to revenue.
