Area / Schedule:

Pet Care Professional with the ability to care for dogs and cats.
- Most dog-walking services occur from 10am to 3pm Monday - Friday.

Most pet-sitting services occur on evenings and weekends.

Kate's K9 Pet Care services Alexandra, Arlington, Fort Washington, Lorton, National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Waldorf, and nearby communities. A staff member is scheduled to work in one area consistently. You will not be expected to service all of our client communities.
Compensation:
$25 - $29 / hour (based on previous staff wages and potential earning bonuses)
$2200 - $2700 / month

30-minute visits are paid at the starting rate of $14-$15 per visit (DOE), but that rate will increase to $16 per visit within the first year. Most staff will gross $22+ per hour to start.

Time and a half on holidays and when servicing short-notice requests.

Client gratuity with 100% of client tips going to staff.

Bonuses for client/staff referrals and reaching performance goals.

Work materials will be provided (treats, poop bags, and other materials as needed).

Staff will earn bonuses when obtaining Pet First Aid and Pet CPR certifications.

All work performed as a contractor*.
The responsibilities:-
Create a safe and positive walking environment for our client's dogs.

Provide detailed and attentive care for our client's cats and other small animals (guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, etc.).

Perform house-sitting duties as requested by the client.

Transport client pets.

Candidates with evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred.

Client demand changes week to week; we ask that staff remain flexible.
