JOB SUMMARY:
This position is in our Roll & Weld section. We are a very busy machine shop with high demand, tight deadlines, and High Quality. We are looking for an experienced Tig welder, along with several years of working with metal. We will train you on our process's and equipment when it comes to metal forming and fabricating. You must have 3-5 years experience.

Indoor shop environment with minimal potential for exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
While in the Shop, which is a fast paced industrial environment, may be exposed to noise levels that are uncomfortable, the use of ear plugs is required. May be exposed to contaminants and high-speed, high-risk machines. Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and temperatures ranging between 55 - 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
The use of appropriate PPE is required, which includes, but is not limited to safety glasses, face masks, breathing equipment, ear plugs, protective clothing, helmets and appropriate footwear.
Physical Demands
Standing the majority of the workday with frequent walking and occasional sitting. Close visual acuity to read and interpret job orders, designs and renderings and operate machinery and equipment. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently to lift/carry push or pull.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, which includes a thirty minute non-compensable lunch break. Nights and weekends required, as needed.

Reports to: Production Manager and/or Vice President
- Abide by the Production Manager’s direction and schedule for completing orders * *
_ _* Perform daily start up and shut down procedures on equipment *_ _* Choose the proper settings and programs to fabricate products with appropriate material as described on the Blue Shop Ticket and/or customers’ drawing
*_ _* Ensure production schedule follow through as allocated by Production Manager *_ _* Perform quality work in a timely manner with no nonconformance’s *_ _* Trim materials used in production so that only useful pieces are stored *_ _* Correctly storing materials, supplies, and tooling. *_ _* Perform and record any maintenance requirements and issues *_ _* Maintain machine, visual daily inspections. *_ _* Follow the tagging system to ensure we have an accurate inventory of material *_ _* Follow all procedures defined by the Quality System (ISO) and OSHA *_ _* Be cooperative and respectful to fellow employees *_ _* Follow all safety requirements *_ _* Report any potentially unsafe work conditions to Production Manager *_ _ Utilize smallest drop possible for product to be made qualifications
- Mathematical skills
- Must be able to use a measuring tape
- Must be detail oriented and have good problem-solving skills; stress tolerance; interpersonal skills a must; good decision-making skills are also required
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and projects in a fast-paced environment with possibility of conflicting priorities
- Knowledge of metals

- High school graduate with work experience in Tig Welding, metal rolling, fabricating
