Job Description
The warehouse worker/partner is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming finished goods and raw materials, picking and filling orders from finished goods, packing and shipping orders, pallet consolidation and loading and unloading inbound and outbound trucks.
Job Responsibilities
- Ability to perform proper receiving, stocking, staging orders, pallet consolidation, loading and unloading as scheduled.
- Follow protocol for staging orders utilizing pick tickets, building pallets of product, wrapping them from top to bottom.
- Knowledge of proper use of company equipment. Equipment may include but not limited to box cutters, electric pallet jacks, forklift and basic computer programs (Word, excel, outlook).
- Follow proper FIFO protocols. (First in, first out).
- Perform accurate weekly Inventory counts.
- Organize and maintain warehouse space.
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
- Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments.
- Will be working in varying temperatures, from ambient to coolers and damp conditions.
- Driving finished goods and raw packaging between two locations. (Miralani to Arjons).
- E-commerce responsibilities may include, checking in merchandise, maintaining records, building boxes, prepping orders and constant FIFO of product and materials.
Required Skills & Experience
- Forklift certified and valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles and trucks.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of position, which includes lifting, pushing and pulling heavy products or equipment.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of all products carried in the distribution center.
- Effective communication skills.
- Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system.
- Basic to intermediate level computer skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
