RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare contract summary to highlight key clauses and contractual risks
- Administer contractual terms and conditions along with project manager
- Support procurement in flowing down client’s terms and conditions to suppliers and sub-contractors
- Work on any claims (Extension of Time / Variation Orders) associated with contracts with client / suppliers / subcontractors
- Support negotiations of claims, manage contractual changes and resolve disputes with client / suppliers / subcontractors
- Ensure all contractual notices are filed and issued timely
- Work with finance and project management functions for billings to client, placement and renewal of bank guarantees / securities and project insurances
- Ensure that contract billings and payments are submitted and received in a timely manner
- Maintain project risk register for regular review with project manager
- Efficiently manage the contract closeout process, including final deliveries, payments, and resolving outstanding issues
- Prepare monthly contract performance report for key projects and highlight key risks and opportunities
- Conduct trends meeting with project manager to identify risks and opportunities for mitigation to support review and update of Estimate-At-Complete (EAC) data
- Support project manager in budget tracking and variance analysis
- Support project manager in preparing project close out report, final accounts and lessons learned
- Support the development and implementation of contracts management policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and industry best practices
REQUIREMENTS
- Technical background (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred)
- 10+ yrs. experience working in progressive technical/commercial/sales roles in the industrial and/or municipal water/wastewater
- Familiarity with various project delivery models like DB, EPC and O&M
- Familiarity with SAP – Sales and Distribution (SD) and Project Systems (PS) modules
- Well versed with various project agreements like EPC Agreement, O&M Agreement, Subcontracting Agreement.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate with customers and local stakeholders is critical
- Able to work with various heads of departments to move forward the project – ability to negotiate through conflicting scenarios and make a decision in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment and don multiple hats, if and when required
- Curiosity and strong drive to improve status-quo while working in a semi-autonomous environment
- Be very comfortable with developing and nurturing relationships across the board
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey ideas and technical/commercial information effectively

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
