Principal Functions of the Position:
Responsible for providing shipping, receiving, and warehouse support for the Regional Branch operation. Primary responsibilities will include: shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, warehouse organization, and/or other project support functions as directed by the Branch Facility Manager or other members of the Unverferth management team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Load/unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Pull daily UPS & LTL orders from warehouse inventory
- Assist with tire mounting duties
- Perform daily/periodic inventory checks on tires, wheels, and warehouse stock
- Perform daily/weekly cleaning and housekeeping in the warehouse
- Lift truck operations
- 5-10 days per year travel in assisting trade show setup/teardown
Traveling could be overnight

Physical Demand:
The majority of any heavy lifting on this job is supplemented with various types of lift assist devices including forklifts, stand-ups, and stackers. However, the operator will be required to occasionally lift, move, load and/or unload parts and materials weighing from 50 lbs. to 125 lbs. Furthermore, the individual will be required to have full range of motion in all extremities with frequent and repetitive bending, stooping, climbing, and stepping up and down from stairs/ladders.
Pre- Requisitions:
- Prefer an individual with a High School diploma or GED
- An individual who pays close attention to detail
- Must be able to recognize and assimilate parts and part numbers
- Must also have legible penmanship and basic computer skills
- Must be able to successfully pass all required training courses on equipment, safety, forklift operation, handling procedures and standards as required for this job
Work Environment and Safety Requirements:
When performing the daily functions of this job the operator is required to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment that is free from clutter and debris. This is an essential part of preventing damage to equipment and finished goods and preventing and/or minimizing accidents and safety violations. The operator is required to wear appropriate sight, hearing, and/or protective clothing as defined by the company’s standard processes and procedures and or regulatory controls issued under OSHA compliance. This area is periodically monitored to ensure appropriate housekeeping and safety practices are maintained.
