Receipt, identification, and preparation of samples - ensure incoming samples are labeled correctly, appropriate analytical have been requested, prep and analyze samples according to ISO work instructions.
Prioritization of analyses according to customer needs matched to capacity; organization and coordination of projects in a high throughput lab environment; obtaining analytical data; ensuring data integrity; functioning in multi-discipline teams and delivering laboratory results in an efficient manner.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor. 1-3 Years of Experience
Preferred candidate will have hands-on experience with total combustion analysis, elemental analysis, calorimetry, Gas Chromatography (GC), NIR Spectroscopy, NMR, total oil analysis, colorimetry, falling number, farinograph, mixograph, bench-top wet chemical analyses, LIMS and the Microsoft Office Suite. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
