Employment Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Process Improvement Manager for the Pompano Beach area. Our client is a well-established company which has been in business for over 65 years and provides various electrical components and cable protection and safety products to companies throughout the US.
Job Summary:
The Process Improvement Manager will have a passion and a drive to be front and center as the key influencer in transforming the company’s process improvement approach to driving a superior customer experience and delivering on key performance indicators.
Quality Control Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a standardized process improvement model.
- Design a report package that drives a clear pathway to identifying defect trends and a sufficient level of data to initiate analysis.
- Lead the “change management” initiatives with all employees and maintain a consistent approach to employee involvement with process improvement.
- Report on gaps, root causes and actions taken to minimize customer disruption or gaps in other processes.
- Integrate the analysis and reporting of defects and actions taken from various entry points within the company.
- Monitor processes and performance to detect any areas of improvement.
- On-going formal reviews of customer complaints and internal quality control programs for process improvements. Provide management with feedback.
- Provide process guidance and support to internal and external customers.
- Train staff on process and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with managers to ensure quality standards are met.
Quality Control Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related business field or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience in quality control, process improvement, DMAIC tools and methods.
- Basic understanding of Six Sigma concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and industry standards
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Expert competency level with Excel; High level competency with other MS office products
Pay Rate: $22 to 24 per hour
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
