The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition of our facilities, including meeting spaces, restaurants, condo units, and common areas. This role involves carpentry work, general maintenance and repairs, as well as preventative maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Engineer must be adept at handling mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment, along with small masonry jobs. The ability to lift equipment/tools ranging from 5lbs to 50lbs and climb ladders is essential.
Responsibilities:

Address engineering and maintenance concerns promptly and efficiently.

Conduct power washing activities as required.

Perform and/or monitor maintenance and preventative maintenance projects.

Respond to all building-related safety concerns.

Support maintenance programs and execute daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.

Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction or hotel maintenance preferred.

Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar capacity.

Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry concepts.
Physical Requirements:

Work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 5 hours).

Communicate satisfactorily in English with guests, management, coworkers, and vendors.

Respond to emergencies promptly, even when not physically at the job site.
