Responsibilities:
Housing & Utilities Included.
Operate and maintain Water and Wastewater treatment equipment and swimming pool, ensuring compliance with state and federal operating regulations and documentation. Maintain and repair camp buildings, grounds and facilities. Schedule and perform routine maintenance on camp vehicles and Facility Department equipment. Maintain a routine for the recording of standard checks, ie. swimming pool, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, dish sanitizers, heat and air conditioning units, smoke detectors, fire suppression systems, building inspections, groundskeeping, etc.
Duties:
Maintain daily compliance of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant
Maintain and assist in the proper and general repair and use of all equipment (including grounds, buildings, shop, kitchen, etc) by performing the following duties:
· Groundskeeping
· General Carpentry
· Residential Plumbing
· Residential Electrical
· Light Mechanical
· Light Janitorial
· Vehicles, tractors, Gator, and golf carts
· Tools
· Etc.
Maintain records as may be required by all state, local, or associated regulatory authorities, including testing, verification, operation, maintenance, and inspection.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors, in confined spaces, on level or unleveled terrain, climb ladders, paint, dig holes, move heavy machinery, crawl, bend, walk, and kneel, and work in adverse conditions including inclement weather; may be exposed to fumes, odor/dust/mist. Must be able to lift over 75lbs.
Provide support for lease groups, special programs and work events on camp premises including hosting tours, work projects, cleaning, and routine janitorial performance.
Report to the Facility Director the need for non-standard repairs or maintenance.
Ability to work a rotational on-call schedule.
Assist in coordinating and facilitating all corporate and volunteer projects.
Provide reasonable security for the facility at all times for the safety and welfare of all participants and the safety and security of property and valuables.
Experience:
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of a Current Class D Wastewater Operator and Class B Water Operator License or able to obtain.
- Certified Pool Operator or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Maintain a Texas Driver’s license and clean driving record.

Pay: $39,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
